Codecademy is giving away its pro subscriptions to people affected by COVID 19

Update (Jun 26, 2020): They still have more than 100k memberships up for grab, as of now

A little more than a month ago, Codecademy started giving away it's pro subscription to students affected by the pandemic. The had initially planned to issue the scholarship to 10,000 students, but later extended it to over 100k students. And now, they want to help workers affected by the COVID-19 by giving them the pro subscription free for 3 months.

How do I apply?

It's quite easy, again. You first have to sign up for an account and then fill up a form by clicking the link below (If you do not already have an account, please make one and then click on that link. Some people were having trouble finding the application form on Codecademy's site). Once your application is approved, your membership will be upgraded from free to pro.

Is Codecademy a good place to start learning?

If you're just starting to code, it's a good place to start. They provide an interactive interface where you can practise while learning. You'll be assigned projects which you'll have to complete at the end of each module, which will help deepen your understanding on the subject matter.

I started learning Python from Codecademy a month ago and I already have a mini project deployed at https://covidnepal.tech/

What course should I enroll in?

You can view all the courses they offer by clicking here. If you're just starting out, I's suggest you to take the 'Code Foundations' course and once you complete it, go for the 'Computer Science' path.
